one shirt, one number
the idea
The Number Company starts with a simple rule: every shirt receives the next number in one continuous sequence. Numbers do not restart with a collection.
the interface
The storefront shows an estimated next number. That estimate and the final assigned number serve different purposes: one keeps the live experience responsive, while the permanent number must come from the server.
the artwork
An artist design can belong to one specific shirt or a range of numbers. The same garment renderer supports the storefront, admin preview, and simulator.
